Fashion Week inspiration for the coming season

As a Fashion lover, I can say that the Fashion Week is a great source of inspiration both from the designer new collections and the guest styles. Definitely not everything that you see on the runway could be incorporated in your wardrobe, but by noticing some details you could build the stylish new season looks.

So, let’s start and have a look at my picked styles from designer collections 2017/2018.

Natalija Jansone is a designer who makes the clothes that I could characterized as a casual chic – always elegant and reserved.  Hand sewn using natural materials with precise cut.

Katya Katya Shehurina – if you love ladylike look, you’ll probably like her clothing design. Primarily dresses, of course. Lace, thin fabric, veiling – these are the things that you’ll find in her collections from season to season.

NARCISS is my favorite from this selection, because I found out that their clothes are in line with my style. Although there were many feminine dresses on the runway, they were styled in a more modern way, not the classic one.

Amoralle sensual and feminine show was absolutely wonderful and, I would say, intriguing. Although I think that Amoralle prices are a bit high for the quality you get, the looks are stunning!

NOLO had the most creative fashion show of the week in the style of “good girls gone bad”. The show was provocative and caused mixed reactions. However I think that it was the smart designer decision – to let others talk about you. I personally enjoyed the show, since it was amusing and absolutely different.

Finally, what I was wearing to the Fashion week?

I strongly believe that you have to think about your outfit for this occasion and get some planning ahead. If you think that someone has polished, but very simple look, it doesn’t mean that it was effortless. Definitely not :-).

It just so happened that 2 of 3 outfits that I was wearing were black & white (unfortunately I did not have a chance to take a picture of my third outfit). It was not intentionally, but I found out that I feel very comfortable in such outfits. However, I promised to myself to wear more colors in the future.
